How do the installers for Nook work?

Android Lollipop for Nook

We’ve had a few support requests asking how exactly the Nook installers work and how to use them.

The Nook installers are fairly straight forward.

The way they work, be it the Mac version or the Windows version is as follows.

You need a spare Micro SD card of a Minimum of a 2GB, larger is fine.
Run the software you downloaded from your computer.
Choose your Micro SD Card in the window and select to write the image to the SD Card.

Once done, eject the SD Card from the computer.
Turn off your Nook
Insert SD card in your Nook
Connect power cable to your nook
Your nook should now boot up and run from the SD card starting the installer automatically.

The installer will wipe the internal software form your Nook and replace it with a copy of Lollipop / CM12 then reboot and start from the Nook internal drive running the new Lollipop.

I’m going to attach a little readme that is sent with the downloads explaining the above so hopefully people will be better informed.

Any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us and we’ll answer as quick as we can.
